Mah Jong Night

American Legion Cathay Post #384 and AsianWeek Foundation partnered to bring the community a free mah jong night on Wednesday Oct. 7, 2009. Over 150 stopped by to relax, socialize, and enjoy Mah Jong together. Guests had the chance to learn about American Legion Cathay Post #384, the nation’s oldest Chinese American veterans group, the AsianWeek Foundation, Asian Firefighters Association, San Francisco Asian Police Officers’ Association, and other community groups.

San Francisco Hep B Free and Chinese Hospital also offered free Hepatitis B screening to all attendees - and by the end of night, approximately 30 people were screened.
